JBL ProClean Aqua In Out
The JBL Proclean Aqua In-Out is a convenient pump that connects to the tap - for efficient aquarium water changes. The pump creates suction from the flowing tap water so that the liquid can be drawn out of the aquarium using a hose. Screw the jet pump onto the tap, connect the hose, open the tap and move the lever to select whether the water is drained or topped up.
Ultra-simple installation
Connect the jet pump to the tap. Connect the long hose to the jet pump and the other end to the purifier. Hang the purifier in the aquarium. Set the stopcock on the water jet pump to flow. Turn the tap completely off. The water in the aquarium will be sucked up by the water flowing past. While the water is being sucked in, wash the bottom of the aquarium with the centrifuge. To refill the aquarium, close the tap on the water pump and allow fresh water to flow into the aquarium.
Regular partial water changes
Food residues, plant remains and other metabolic products pollute the aquarium water. As aquarium filters cannot completely remove these substances from the water, and a large part of the impurities sink to the bottom of the aquarium, you should carry out regular partial water changes (approx. 1/3 of the water content) every 2 weeks. During the partial water change, the waste should always be pumped out of the substrate. After the partial water change, a good water conditioner such as JBL Biotopol is essential for preparing new tap water for the fish.
The kit includes: 1 complete water jet pump (3/4'' connection) with shut-off valve including sealing ring, movable hose connection (12/16) with hose lock nut.
Connection for standard 12/16mm hose.
