The energy-efficient WINTERHOT PRO flow-through heater is a floating heater for ponds, garden and fish ponds. It provides spot heating of the water surface during the winter period, maintaining an artificial break. The WINTERHOT PRO heater ensures gas exchange in the pond or pond and protects its inhabitants from suffocation.



How does the WINTERHOT PRO pond heater work?

The WINTERHOT PRO flow-through pond heater is equipped with an intelligent thermostat that monitors changes in air temperature . The heating element of the AQUAEL WINTERHOT PRO heater has been placed in an aluminium tube attached to a float shielded by a diffuser. In the same tube, at the very bottom, there is a small circulation pump which consumes only 4W per hour. This pump causes constant movement of the water around the heater. When the air temperature stays above minus 5°C this is completely sufficient to ensure an ice-free water surface (around the unit). When the air temperature drops below minus 5°C, the thermostat activates the heating module. The pumped water is then heated and forms a large cavity around the heater, providing fish and other pond inhabitants with an effective gas exchange.

This solution means that the WINTERHOT PRO pond heater is only activated under specific atmospheric conditions and does not consume unnecessary electrical energy. This makes it extremely economical - the WINTERHOT PRO pond heater consumes up to 80% less energy than other devices of this type. Its operation is easy to follow thanks to the LEDs on the upper surface of the device, which are perfectly visible even from a distance. The green LED lights up all the time when the heater is plugged in, while the red LED lights up when the heater is operating.

 

When is the WINTERHOT PRO heater suitable?
WINTERHOT PRO is suitable for practically every pond and fish pond. Even during extremely cold winters - down to minus 30°C, the WINTERHOT PRO pond heater ensures free gas exchange in the pond and protects its inhabitants from suffocation, which allows them to survive until spring in excellent condition and health.
