External cascade filter for 40-200L aquarium
 

The VERSAMAX external filter is intended for purifying and aerating water in aquariums and marine nano-aquariums. Thanks to high efficiency, it ensures intensive filtration of water in the aquarium, while it takes up very little space. It is very quiet and easy to use. VERSAMAX filters are designed for tanks with a capacity of 50 to 300 liters.

Each filter consists of a filter cover, overflow unit and a container for filter media with a sponge insert. The VERSAMAX filter is completely airtight because the whole filter container consists of one part.

A description of the action:
The filter should be hung on the wall of the aquarium, placing the suction tube inside the aquarium and the pump body outside. To start up, fill the filter container with water and then insert the plug into the socket. A properly installed filter will soon suck air out of the suction system and start pumping water from the aquarium. The pump capacity can be adjusted in a wide range with the knob on the top of the overflow unit.

Water is drawn by the pump from the lower parts of the aquarium, flows through the filter cartridges, and then is poured back into the aquarium. Filter baskets allow easy replacement of filter cartridges.

The filter capacity can be adjusted with a knob on the top of the overflow unit. The angle of the filter can be adjusted with the dial.

Filter media:
A set of VERSAMAX filter filter cartridges includes a foam insert as standard. Sponge cartridges are made of a special, phenol-free sponge, on which bacterial cultures, which are responsible for removing organic impurities from the aquarium, grow particularly easily. In addition to efficient mechanical filtration, this guarantees excellent biological filtration.

Cartridges in the filter can be freely exchanged for other filtration media for biological or chemical purification or combined, e.g. cartridges for biological filtration with a sponge for mechanical filtration. It should be remembered that individual media should be arranged in equal layers in both parts of the filter baskets. In addition, you can use the MULTI UV-C sterilizer for the VERSAMAX filter.
